Tell us a bit about your background: 

- Grew up in Massillon, Ohio. 

- BSBA from The Ohio State University. 

- MBA from Ashland University. 

- Employed as commercial banker in NE Ohio since 1982. 

What do you/did you do for work? Commercial Group Manager for Huntington Bank. 

How did you come to join the United Way board? Was nominated to join the board by former board member, Phil Francis. 

How long have you been on the board? Since April 2022. 

Briefly explain your work on the board: Serve as a member of the Agency Review Committee. 

Describe your involvement with United Way prior to joining the board: 

- Past campaign volunteer for United Way of Western Stark County. 

- Past board member of United Way of Summit County and campaign volunteer. 

What community partners or volunteer programs are you most passionate about supporting? Massillon Boys & Girls Club. 

Why is United Way’s work important to you? Please explain. It is important to me because UW helps to meet the needs of the families and children in our community and provides resources to help eliminate adverse childhood experiences.   

If you could share any piece of advice with the children of Stark County, what would it be? Follow your dreams and never give up on your goals. 

What do you like to do in your down time? Play golf, play guitar, attend sporting events.
