At United Way of Greater Stark County, we believe health, education and financial stability are the building blocks for a better life. Whether it’s through our direct services or community collaborations, we offer several programs to address those urgent needs in our region.
The Economic Mobility Center provides wraparound services geared toward economic mobility programs that help participants build long-term, fiscal independence, creating a cycle of financial success throughout the community. Prosperity@Work, is a solution-driven collaborative, dedicated to improving workplace retention, productivity, advancement, financial stability, and the well-being of employees.

Challenges at home can directly impact a student’s academic performance. CARE Team offers intervention and support for at-risk youth and their families to overcome these obstacles.
Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Ohio mails free books monthly to children from birth to age five, helping them become more kindergarten ready and setting them on a path for early educational success.
Dismantling Racism Coalition of Stark County
This coalition seeks to build more effective social justice habits, particularly those dealing with issues of race, power, privilege, and leadership. They create challenges that explore racial equity and social injustice through activities designed to dismantle racism and other forms of discrimination.
Project Blueprint is designed to identify, recruit, train and place diverse volunteer leaders into policy making roles to enhance the effectiveness of nonprofit agencies.
