YLS & C.A.M.P. Stone Soup 2019

Stone Soup, based on the children’s story, is a favorite volunteer activity for so many!

For this event, we are partnering with the students at C.A.M.P. as a mentoring opportunity to gather motivated high school students and young professionals to assemble meals for those in need in our community. Join us, much like the villagers in the story, to come together to maximize impact in providing hot meals to our community.

Volunteers will be assigned to bring ingredients (ranging in cost from $5-$7 per person) needed to complete larger recipes. We will then work in small groups to assemble a variety of soups. All of the food will be donated to area shelters, youth groups or community centers to provide meals to individuals, children and families.

Space is limited, so register early as we have maxed out capacity on ALL of our past events.

If you are looking for a family-friendly volunteer event, we will be hosting one in November. For this particular Stone Soup event, we are looking for young professionals.
