Meet Davonte, our future pilot. 

Davonte wants to fly people around in a big airplane when he grows up.  Probably because he loves math and that will be a big part of his studies as a pilot, or the fact that he can do some really awesome back flips.  “I can do lots of back flips,” he said excitedly.   

Those back flips might come in handy for the aerodynamics and flying, and it just might be fun for him now.   

One of the things he really likes to do is play video games with one of his sisters.  “I like to play games with my sister and to play football when I am not at school,” he said.  Those video games might seem like a waste of time to some people, but they may serve him well as he becomes a pilot and has to navigate through the skies and safely land a plane full of people.  

His favorite movie?  Tom and Jerry.  Possibly because they have so many crazy antics and are airborne some of the time, and Davone knows a thing or two about aerodynamics.  Remember how he loves to do back flips?  His favorite animal is the monkey.  Again, a creature that might be airborne, swinging from place to place. 

One thing for sure, this young man knows how to enjoy himself – back flips, playing football, eating Dairy Queen, and playing video games. 

He also indicated he likes the color blue, which will come in handy… most pilots have navy blue uniforms!
