Day of Caring 2020: Drive & Drop Community Collection

(Canton, OH) August 12, 2020 – September 11, United Way of Greater Stark County is partnering with Huntington Bank and Cutler Real Estate for a curbside collection of our community’s greatest needs of food, masks and cleaning supplies.

Day of Caring is typically a community service day for local businesses, organizations, service groups and individuals to give back to the community through volunteerism. In an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy, it has been transformed into a Drive & Drop community collection.

“Day of Caring may look very different this year, but the goal is still the same, to bring everyone together to make a big impact in the community,” says Laura Prengaman, Director of Corporate & Volunteer Engagement of United Way of Greater Stark County. “Because of the pandemic, even more families now need assistance. Join us on September 11 by driving up and dropping off a couple of items.”

Day of Caring is a wonderful representation of how businesses and volunteers come together for the betterment of our community.
