HOODIES FOR THE HOLIDAY

HOODIES FOR THE HOLIDAYS brought to you by United Way of Greater Stark County's Young Leaders Society

Give back this holiday season! Join the United Way of Greater Stark County Young Leaders Society in inspiring nearly 200 local high school students to pursue their college aspirations. With help from community supporters like you, we’re able to provide students at local participating high schools with alumni letters, admissions packets and hoodies from the colleges of their choice.

"Thank you for the hoodie! I'm going to Kent and have already been accepted! I am so happy to have a hoodie ready for my first year there this fall!" - Justin

"I'm emailing to thank you for your generosity in giving us all hoodies from the college of our choice. They are very warm and it is nice to know we have someone supporting us in our goal to be successful. I hope you do this next year for other teenagers in the program." -Madison

"Words cannot describe how grateful I am to have received my NYU hoodie from you! It's so nice to have someone to back up and support our future life decisions. Thanks again, it means so much to me!" -Haley

HOODIES FOR THE HOLIDAYS 2017:

This year YLS has partnered with the following schools to provide more than 150 sweatshirts for the Hoodies project: Alliance High School, Canton Harbor High School, CHOICES, Early College and Sandy Valley High School.

"As students plan or discuss their future beyond high school, many dream of attending college. Whether they are the first in their family to attend college or one of many, they all have one thing in common - they need support! United way of Greater Stark County's Young Leaders Society and community sponsors are teaming up for the third annual Hoodies for the Holidays! With the hoodie of their choice, a personalized letter from an alumni and an admissions packet- we are showing students from Alliance High School, Sandy Valley High School and Compton Learning Center that we support their dream of educational advancement! Will you join us in this exciting opportunity by being a sponsor or donating, today? – Jenifer Hill
