Stark Walks

Stark Walks Overview

Stark Walks promotes pedestrian-friendly urban pathways, or green streets, that encourage no-cost, safe exercise. Originally designed as four urban walking paths in the Northeast area of Canton, Stark Walks has expanded to five loops and 17 paths, including walking routes in Southeast Canton as well. With signs that indicate distance and approximate travel time, you can measure your walking distance and time spent being physically active within your own neighborhood!

Stark Walks is supported by the Stark County Health Department and United Way of Greater Stark County through the Live Well Stark County coalition and supports our Bold Goal of promoting healthy lifestyles. This was made possible with the help of Creating Healthy Communities and the Stark County Park District.
