DESCRIPTION:Women United Steering Committee members:\n\n\nWe would like to ask you\, your friends and families for help with creating Health and Safety Kits. The kits will be collected and distributed to the following agencies: Stark County Metropolitan Housing\, Massillon AHEAD\, Community Legal Aid\, Urban League of Stark County. The more kits we collect\, the bigger the impact we can make!\n\n\n\n Learn more and sign up here\n\nGo to top\nBelow is a checklist of what items to put in the kits and a timeline of the project details. You may put together one kit or many. Each and every one will make a difference.\n\n\nChecklist to assemble kit:\n\nGallon Size Ziploc Bag\n2 adult face masks\n4 child size face masks\n3 travel sized or one small hand sanitizer\n(Recommended brands: Purell\, Germ-x Gel or Suave Hand Sanitizing spray)\n1 small bottle liquid hand soap\n1 container Lysol or Clorox wipes\n\nAssemble the items in the gallon bag (If the wipes do not fit\, you may keep them separate). Drop them off at the designated place during the noted time frame.

DESCRIPTION:Winners of the family-friendly workplace awards will be honored at the third annual award event on Thursday\, October 10\, at Kent State University at Stark Conference Center. \nEvent begins with check-in and buffet at 11 AM\, with the program starting at 11:30 AM. \nAwards presentations and a keynote speech will by Meghan Cummings\, executive director of the Women’s Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation. \nHer presentation will focus on Women’s Fund work development of an Employer Toolkit. This toolkit provides tangible\, actionable solutions for serious problems faced by employers and their hourly wages. The Toolkit is designed to help employers increase retention and motivation of hourly wage employees. All registered attendees will receive a copy of the Employer Toolkit. \nEvent registration closed October 7.
