(Canton, OH) Oct.7, 2009 —United Way of Greater Stark County and local merchants are working together to reward campaign donors for their contribution during especially hard economic times. More than 18 area merchants have donated incentives, ranging from gift cards to airline tickets, which will be given away to campaign donors at the Dec. 10 annual campaign “Landing” celebration.
To qualify, donors must turn in their campaign pledge cards to United Way of Greater Stark County by Mon., Nov. 30. All donors making a pledge of any amount will be placed in the first of two drawings which includes $25 gift cards, a two month membership to Curves, two tickets to an Akron Aeros game and multiple other incentives.
The second drawing for all new donors pledging at least $120 annually or returning donors who increase their pledges will be for incentives ranging from two airline tickets from AirTran valued at $500 each to a wine tasting for 16 from Buehler’s Fresh Foods.
