Harvest for Hunger

Harvest for Hunger is a community-wide effort to collect non-perishable food items for the Akron-Canton Foodbank. The United Way's Corporate Volunteer Council has run a large Harvest for Hunger campaign each year as part of their spring project line up.

More than 50 area businesses collect food each spring. The thousands of pounds of food are loaded onto donated SARTA buses for an event called 'Stuff the Bus.' CVC volunteers assist with the day long 'Stuff the Bus' event - a tiring, but favorite activity of CVC members.
