As part of a countywide effort to increase economic independence and family financial stability, the United Way of Greater Stark County and The Repository is hosting a FREE, one-day Financial Fair event to provide residents with tools and tips on financial planning and money management so that they can better weather the current economic climate.  Community experts will give presentations about savings, credit, retirement planning, investment basics, foreclosure prevention, identity theft prevention and banking basics.

Transportation will be provided by SARTA from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on regularly scheduled routes. Buses will have signs to indicate free transportation for the Financial Fair.

The United Way Financial Stability Partnership’s goal is to boost efforts towards a positive economic future for residents of Stark County. The partnership includes members from Consumer Credit Counseling Services, Treasurer/Attorney General of the State of Ohio, Stark County Auditor’s office, representatives of United Way service providers and community volunteers.
